Kristina Vejnbender is an investigative reporter who is based in Prague.
She focuses on cross-border investigations linked to the post-Soviet region. Her work covers organised crime, labour exploitation, money laundering, sanctions evasion and propaganda networks. She collaborates on international investigations and data-driven projects that examine transnational corruption, financial secrecy and the abuse of vulnerable communities. Drawing on her family roots in Kazakhstan, she brings a deep understanding of the region to her work.
She holds a PhD in Philosophical Anthropology from Charles University in Prague.
