Lisa Bjurwald is a Swedish journalist and author based in Stockholm.

She specialises in international current affairs, political extremism, right-wing populism, terrorism, press freedom and women's issues. Bjurwald has written for several leading Swedish dailies in the past and continues to write for a range of newspapers and magazines. She has a column in Ny Tid, Norway's international news magazine and has published investigative books on the far right in Europe and online. In 2010 Bjurwald was awarded the European Parliament Prize for Journalism (press category).
