Nikola Budzińska is a Polish journalist focusing on environmental issues, borderland ecosystems, and human rights.
She has reported extensively from the Polish-Belarusian border, documenting how border infrastructure and political tensions affect wildlife migration corridors and protected forest ecosystems. Her work combines field reporting, interviews with local communities, scientists, and NGOs, and the analysis of legal and policy frameworks.
Nikola collaborates with Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, Onet, and Outriders. She is graduated from the University of Warsaw with Master’s degrees in Journalism and Media Studies (Documentary and TV Reporting) and Law. She has receivde support for her wrok from several international programmes, including the BIRN Summer School for Investigative Journalism and the SDG Lab Fellowship.
