Nikolija Čodanović is a freelance investigative journalist and fact-checker from Serbia.
She specialises in analytical reporting, political accountability, and the verification of public claims. Her work draws on a combination of field research, open-source intelligence, data analysis, and in-depth interviews. She learned the foundations of investigative journalism at the Centre for Investigative Journalism of Serbia (CINS), where she completed her internship in 2019–2020.
For the following five years she worked at Istinomer, focusing on governance, transparency, disinformation, and long-form analytical reporting. She was awarded the Refleksija Award in 2020 for ethical reporting on poverty. When she is not writing about justice, she serves it on the volleyball court.
