Oana Maniţiu is a Romania journalist at Context.ro.
She is a philosophy student at the University of Bucharest and has been a reporter for the Context.ro Investigative Reporting Project for the past two years. As a journalist, she has documented human trafficking in Romania, as well as other social and environmental issues, and has reported on-site during elections in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. She has engaged in local and national initiatives promoting critical thinking, media literacy, and political culture, and is highly interested in the influence of technology on democratic processes, in theoretical and moral-political philosophy, as well as in geography and environmental studies.
