Pablo Jiménez Arandia is an investigative reporter and freelance journalist based in Spain. He covers stories on the intersection between technology, social justice and human rights.

Since 2020 Pablo has been reporting on the use of algorithms and AI systems in the public sector, including prisons, welfare policy and law enforcement. He has worked together with organisations such as Lighthouse Reports and AlgorithmWatch on several algorithmic accountability projects. He has also produced two documentary podcasts on the subject.

Pablo is a contributor to some of Spain's most important media outlets, such as EL PAÍS and El Confidencial and he currently holds a fellowship on AI accountability from the Pulitzer Center.
