Sara Acosta focuses on environment and economics. She has been a correspondent in Brussels, Paris, and the United States.

She has more than 15 years of experience as an environmental journalist. She launched the environmental supplement of the financial daily Cinco Días, where she was editor for six years. She has published in other general media outlets such as El País, elDiario.es, and Le Monde. In 2014, she founded the independent magazine Ballena Blanca with other journalists, of which she is currently editor.
