Shing Timothy Mufua is a Cameroon-based freelance journalist and fact-checker.
He reports for The Guardian Post Daily Newspaper, Cameroon’s leading English language newspaper, covering the South West Region.
He has also written for many Cameroonian newspapers including The Post, Municipal Updates, The Advocate and others.
Shing was a finalist at the 2023 edition of the Victoria International Media Merit Award as the most promising young journalist. He is passionate about the environment, development, solutions and peace journalism.
He holds a BSc in Journalism and Mass Communication and a Master’s degree in Journalism.
