Tim Schleinitz is a freelance journalist and author based in Berlin.
As a co-founder of the audio production collective Audiokombinat, he is committed to developing collaborative approaches that suit both the task at hand and the individuals involved.
He holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary History, a critical source material and the main theme of his work: how our present has come to be—factually and narratively—and where we imagine it might lead. Having begun his radio journey with DIY community stations, he is well-versed in thinking beyond conventional frameworks.
One of his recent projects is a podcast exploring tenants, squatters, and the potential for regulating Berlin’s unconventional housing market. His features and audio pieces have been broadcast by German public radio stations including DLF Kultur, WDR, and RBB. He is also active in the field of science communication, producing podcasts that make research more accessible.
