BRUSSELS – Journalismfund.eu announces the deadline dates for its application rounds for cross-border investigative journalism projects. There will be five application rounds between now and mid-2016.

In September we announced a three-year agreement with Adessium Foundation for our cross-border project. The agreement allows us to plan calls further in the future. There will be two application rounds in 2014 and 2015 and, for the time being, one in 2016. The specific dates of the deadlines:

  • Monday 10th of March 2014
  • Monday 15th of September 2014
  • Monday 2nd of March 2015
  • Monday 15th of September 2015
  • Monday 7th of March 2016

The deadline is always 23.59 (or 11.59 pm) Brussels time.

Prior to each deadline, applicants can consult Brigitte Alfter for advice to their story ideas. Times and contact points will be announced about two months before the deadline.

Our most recent application round, which was closed on Monday 21 October 2013, saw 51 projects being submitted.
