Eliminating News Desert in Płock County by Creating an Innovative Local News

PLOCK - The project will be implemented in the płock county in Poland. It is a low-urbanized area near the city of Płock, inhabited by more than 90,000 people with no access to quality local news. The main goal of the project is to eliminate the news desert by launching of information sub-portal in this area, including innovative journalistic formats on issues important to the inhabitants of the news desert.

7Montes - Value Local Identity and Community Networks in Trás-os-Montes

As the region and its 310.000 inhabitants are often stereotyped as old and isolated, this quality approach will value unique identity and traditions preserved by the physical remoteness.

LUBLIN – „We invest in democracy” is a project of independent Polish newspaper “Tygodnik Siedlecki”. We are trying to resist the rising crisis in printed press industry. Our readers are spread across 7 administrative districts of eastern Poland, including six in the Mazovia Province and one in the Lublin Province.
