Laurens Germanes (Belgium), joined Journalismfund Europe in June 2024.
He currently coordinates The Pascal Decroos Fund for Investigative Journalism.
Laurens studied Philosophy and Moral Sciences and Communication Sciences with a focus on Media and Culture at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). He also holds a degree in Fine Arts from LUCA School of Arts, Brussels completing a semester abroad at School of Visual Arts, New York. He is passionate about Art, Media and Culture.
Before joining Journalismfund Europe he worked for Film Fest Gent and VUB and spent some time living in Uzbekistan.
