BERLIN - 20 European journalists are being trained for a week to gain a practical understanding of the tools and insights needed to report on climate neutrality and energy transition. Organised by Clean Energy Wire (CLEW), which has been covering all aspects of energy and climate for a decade, the Summer Academy aims to make European journalists better equipped to tell the story of our time.
In order to competently report on the climate crisis and Europe's energy transition as a key solution story, CLEW provided participants with the skills and knowledge to identify and adequately report on relevant issues and actors, and to reach all types of audiences.
CLEW relies on its hands-on expertise in factchecking and handling disinformation as well as cross-border collaboration.
The training took place in Berlin from 1-8 September.
