Nuri Fatolahzadeh

Nuri Fatolahzadeh is an independent Italian-Iranian reporter based in Lombardy.

Her work focuses on civil rights, environmental issues, the climate crisis, migration and international affairs, with particular expertise on Iran. She has contributed to The Post Internazionale, Giornale di Brescia, IRPI Media and the Green European Journal, among other publications. In 2022, her investigation into the Caffaro environmental disaster won the Vergani Prize. In 2024, her podcast was a finalist at the Italian Podcast Awards and received a special mention for territorial impact journalism at the Tina Merlin Award.
