Wouter Massink is a Dutch multimedia journalist currently based in Istanbul.
Wouter mostly covers environmental and maritime issues and workers’ rights in Turkey and the wider region. Wouter has experience in data investigations, field reporting, and videography across Europe and beyond. His work has appeared in Mongabay and Turkey recap, among other outlets. Before pursuing a career in journalism, Wouter worked as a cameraman, including for the Belgian Emmy-winning TV series Sorry voor Alles.
