Cross Border Collaboration in a Fragmented World is the theme of this year's most important journalistic Forum in the Arab World. Combating false and misleading information is no longer possible within the confines of a single state, and cross-border collaboration has become essential for an independent and effective media that seeks credible information. However, it has to happen in a world, dominated by exclusion, hate speech, corruption, and injustice.

19th gathering of Africa’s finest investigative reporters, three days celebrating great work, sharing with and learning from each other. Last year over 400 participants from 36 African countries, plus 10 other countries, took part in more than 80 sessions.

Renowned journalists, media professionals, academics, journalism students, independent media and organisations from all corners of the globe will come together to develop their skills, find inspiration and discuss current and emerging challenges in journalism globally.

Journalismfund is supporting the Reporting on Climate Change – and its Significance for Democracy workshop for young journalists at the M100 Sanssouci Colloquium forum. 

The international forum brings together Europe`s top editors, commentators and media owners (print, broadcasting and internet) alongside key public figures to assess the role and impact of the media in international affairs and to promote democracy and freedom of expression and speech. As a modern-day East-West bridge-builder, the Colloquium fosters media relations and not only exposes differences but also common ground in the challenges faced by media from different cultures and regions.

The next DIG festival will take place 21-24 September 2023 in Modena, Italy. A 4-days gathering filled with screenings, panels, workshops, live music, art exhibitions, awards, and more than 100 international speakers. Save the date!
