Supported projects

ALYTUS - Our project is devoted to the communities of Alytus city and region, also the second target is the region with other 3 municipalities around - Druskininkai, Lazdijai and Varėna. The covered area is in South Lithuania near the border with Belarus and Poland.

ŁOWICZ - Video production for the cities of Łowicz, Głowno, Stryków and Żychlin and its surroundings. The third parallel channel of information, along with the existing ones: traditional newspaper and Internet portal.

MIASTKO - BYTÓW - InfoGIFT is an application that aims to increase Readers' awareness of local events. It encourages you to read the entire article with comprehension. You earn points for reading, which you exchange for prizes.

CIEMPOZUELOS - Production of a serie of audio and video interviews about local women. Hence our team's digital skills are limited, the Grant will help in our digitalisation process. It will allow us to find new ways to reach a wider audience as well as younger generations.

DEBRECEN - This project aims to develop innovative audience engagement exercises in three neighboring towns that generate audience growth and strengthens trust in independent media. The voice of marginalized groups and independent NGOs are not heard, and opposition views are receiving a biased representation. These groups and the general population would benefit from this project.

NOVI SAD - In order to improve the capacity of independent media in the field of environmental protection, Journalismfund Europe is supporting this project aimed at small independent media outlets in the region of Vojvodina.

BERLIN - This project trained 25 environmental reporters in live journalism.

GOTHENBURG - With support from Journalismfund Europe, GIJN is developing and organizing the Investigative Agenda for Climate Change Journalism, a groundbreaking, day-long collaborative workshop that is bringing together leading investigative journalists on climate change. 

SKOPJE - Journalismfund Europe is supporting SCOOP Macedonia in this project aimed at raising awareness about pollution through investigative and data journalism.

SÃO PAULO - This project aimed to train environmental reporters to trace supply chains linked to deforestation, follow money trails and deliver cross-border investigations on profiteering European markets.
