LEIPZIG - The jury of the Leipzig Prize for the Freedom and Future of the Media 2013 have decided to exceptionally award a fourth prize this year: news outlet The Guardian and journalist Glenn Greenwald join the laureates that had already been announced before. Among the other laureates are Journalismfund.eu's Brigitte Alfter and Ides Debruyne.

Journalismfund.eu announces a new donor

BRUSSELS – Journalismfund.eu is very happy to announce the Dutch Adessium Foundation as a new donor. Over a period of three years, from October 2013 to September 2016, Adessium Foundation will support Journalismfund.eu’s cross-border investigative journalism programme as a premium donor.

BRUSSELS – Journalismfund.eu has launched a new call for applications for cross-border working grants. Journalists with good ideas for cross-border, European stories can apply for a grant. For this round there is € 33,000 to be distributed.
